Hello all! Today was much better than yesterday. I added 727 words to lead up to a fight scene that I will be tackling tomorrow (which I thought I would be doing today, but the lead up ended up taking longer than I expected).
I’m not the best at writing fights, but at least I have a pretty good idea of how I want it to play out, so the tricky part is going to be putting those thoughts into writing. Easier said than done as we all know, lol.

I abhor writing scenes, because it could so easily turn into: he punched him, the other guy fell, he kicked back.
I can make daily life sound interesting, but when it comes to fight scenes, this seemingly exciting event would most probably end up drier than a pack of silica beads. Good luck with yours!
