Hi everybody! It’s been a slow week for me on the writing front, but I finally managed to finish The Truth of Winter (my Persephone retelling short story) at just under 9k words. I’m very happy how it turned out and am planning to give it to a few friends for some feedback before searching for places to submit it (magazines or anthologies).

Today, I am planning on working on the first draft of my Dragon WIP. I technically started it on Monday, but only wrote 200 words before turning my attention back to my short. I’m excited to finally dive into this story with my full attention.
