Hello, everyone! Today marks the middle of the month, and while I haven’t made as much progress as I hoped, I still have managed to break 60k overall words. As I predicted, this month has been slow going, and then I also went on a last-minute camping trip with the family.

I’m a little stressed out that I may not reach my goal of 72k by the end of the month because I only have about ten days of actual writing time due to another vacation I’m going on next week, which means I’d have to write 1.2k words a day and I haven’t even been reaching 1k. However, today I made decent progress because I realized that I could go back and add in a scene that I was planning for revisions, which may end up being an entire new chapter. I have a few other scenes that I could also do before returning to the part I’m stuck on, and maybe that will get me out of my rut.

My next update most likely won’t be until the end of the month.
