Allison N. Moore is a stay-at-home mom raised in Oklahoma currently living in Minnesota with her husband, daughter, and cat. She writes primarily adult fantasy and science-fiction short stories and novels, but also dabbles in poetry.

As a former registered Veterinary Technician who has always loved animals and science, she often incorporates them into her worldbuilding. She also likes to include romantic subplots, themes that explore good vs evil, and dashes of humor (typically in the form of banter).

She may look sweet and innocent, but her characters know better. Luckily for them, she’s also a sucker for happy endings… Usually.

Her short stories “Soar” and “Rrekwe’m of Blood” can be found in the SFF anthology Achten Tan: Land of Dust and Bone (Tales From the Year Between, Volume 1). Her latest short story “Madness” can be found in the second volume of Tales From the Year Between, Under New Suns.

Currently, she is working on the first draft of an Urban Fantasy featuring an immortal demon hunter trying to find his place in both the human and supernatural worlds. You can read more about this and her other WIPs on her Works in Progress page.
